Kingston University Rocket Engineering

KURE is a student-led society at Kingston University London. It was founded in 2020 by a group of students interested in building rocket engines. Since then it has won several awards, broke several university records and even set a world first.
KURE focuses on equipping its members with skills and experience not covered in the academic curriculum. It does this by providing an avenue for students to design, build and test a range of rocketry projects. The society has built several rockets, rocket engines, rocket design programs and simulators and other developing projects such as flight computers and recovery systems.
KURE boasts a multidisciplinary team with members from different departments at the university. We have members from engineering, fashion, art, business, computer science, mathematics, geography and law. We aim to cover many aspects of space rather than just engineering.
